S–2 Bidang Linguistik di Universitas Top Dunia Berikut Dapat Didanai Beasiswa LPDP
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) memiliki jurusan linguistik terbaik di dunia (sumber: mit.edu)
Beasiswa LPDP (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan) merupakan salah satu beasiswa prestisius yang diminati warna negara Indonesia. Beasiswa yang mulai pertama kali dibuka pada 2013 ini secara rutin membuka pendaftaran beasiswa setiap tahunnya. Ada dua tahap dalam setiap tahunnya, yakni Tahap I yang dibuka di awal tahun dan Tahap II yang dibuka pada pertengahan tahun. Kuota penerimaan menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan yang telah ditentukan di setiap tahunnya.
Kategori beasiswa dibedakan menjadi dua: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) dan SHARE (Social, Humanities, Art for People, Religious Study, Economics). Masing-masing beasiswa sesuai bidang keilmuan tersebut terbagi ke dalam 3 kategori pendaftar, yaitu (1) Pendaftar kriteria Umum; (2) Pendaftar kriteria CPNS/PNS/TNI/POLRI; dan (3) Pendaftar kriteria Afirmasi (a. Putra Putri Papua; b. Daerah Afirmasi; c. Prasejahtera; d. Penyandang Disabilitas)
Untuk bidang SHARE, salah satu bidang ilmu yang didanai LPDP adalah Linguistik yang termasuk ke dalam ranah Humanities. Linguistik adalah bidang ilmu yang memfokuskan pada kajian bahasa.
